Middies Pin 3-1 Loss on Grey Wolves

Both teams had their chances, but the Grafton Middies eventually prevailed at Wolf Den in Vancouver.
The Grafton Middies knocked off the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 3-1. Grafton starter Dave Turner pitched well enough to earn top player honors. Vancouver, at 6-14, is off to a poor start in 2028.
In the top of the fifth, Scotty Anderson had a big run-scoring double off Roy Shively. With the double, the Grafton catcher put his team in front, 1-0. He went 1 for 4 with a double in the contest.
"I felt good even in the late innings," said Turner after the game.
