In a well-pitched game between the Yellowknife Dragonblood and the Gwinnett County Black Cats, pitcher Julián Menchaca was fantastic. The Yellowknife right-hander was named the player of the game in Yellowknife's 2-0 win. Roberto Muñóz got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. With the win, the Dragonblood have a record of 29-32.
Yellowknife grabbed control in the top of the eighth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Alejandro Bracamonte delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Dragonblood.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Menchaca.
