Grey Wolves Cut Down Middies, 7-1
|
The Vancouver Grey Wolves went home winners at Wolf Den in Vancouver, thanks in large part to starter Ambrose Randall. Randall silenced the Grafton Middies, enabling Vancouver to grab the 7-1 win. Randall got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 7 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. Randall allowed 1 earned run. Vancouver is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 19 games.
Robert O'Connor, the Vancouver designated hitter, contributed a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 2-1, Grey Wolves. For the game, O'Connor was 2-5 with a home run.
"We'll build on this win," said Randall.
