The Grafton Middies picked up a win at Field of the Middies, knocking off the D.C. Divided, 6-3. Starting pitcher Robbie Baxter, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Baxter got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. Baxter allowed 3 earned runs. Lynwood Matos recorded his 3rd save for Grafton.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, third baseman Stefano Gaddi came through big-time for the Middies. With Grafton leading 2-1, he belted a 2-run home run.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Baxter.

The win gives the Middies a record of 7-9.
