South Beach Blaze starter Sy-ing Tah turned in a sterling performance against the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, leading his team to a slim 2-0 win. Arthur Clough nailed down his 2nd save. The South Beach winning streak has now reached 4 games.

A key at-bat in the game came in the top of the eighth inning when the Blaze sent teenager Omer Yurtseven to the plate against Cauldrons hurler Brian Peeks. With runners on 1st and 3rd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a 1-2 fastball to score 1.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Tah.
