Plainsmen Take Tight Tilt
|
Nebraska pitcher Markus Visser did his part in helping his team beat the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Nebraska, at 12-13, occupies 7th place in the Premier A.
In the bottom of the 6th, third baseman Hamilton Swan gave Nebraska the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Plainsmen had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out single off Hogsmeade pitcher Ollie McDaniell changed that -- and Nebraska went on to win.
Visser told a Nebraska Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
