5 Straight Wins for Tula
|
The Chicago Tula went home winners at The Ballpark on the Beach, thanks in large part to starter Pang Qin. Qin silenced the South Beach Blaze, enabling Chicago to grab the 2-1 win. Juan Costello got the save, the 1st for him this season. The third-place Tula have won 5 straight.
Rand McNally found himself in a pressure situation in the top of the tenth. Facing South Beach hurler Victor Lustig, the 21-year-old center fielder hit a sacrifice fly. His 10th RBI of the season put the Tula on top, 2-1.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Qin.
