Dragonblood Saddle Bulls with 3-2 Loss
|
Clyde Pell pitched well, but the Mt. Vernon Bulls still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Yellowknife Dragonblood at The Dragon Den. Yellowknife reliever Roberto Muñóz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Clyde Pell was saddled with the loss. Hasegawa Shoin picked up the save for Yellowknife, his 1st of the year.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth. That's when Juan Macíel grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Dragonblood went on to win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Macíel.
The Mt. Vernon Bulls, now 6-10, continue their poor start.
