Blaze Top Plainsmen, 5-0
|
The South Beach Blaze went home winners at Plain Old Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Sy-ing Tah. Tah silenced the Nebraska Plainsmen, enabling South Beach to grab the 5-0 win. South Beach improves to 5-4 as they look to defend their championship.
Bastiaan Trommel was a key contributor to the win for the Blaze. In the top of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to left. He went 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
"We did a lot of things right," said Trommel.
