Hogsmeade starter William Fothergill pitched effectively against the Gwinnett County Black Cats at Pipers Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 11-0 win. With the loss, Gwinnett County sinks to 2-3.

Robinson Barquero, the Hogsmeade center fielder, contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to make the score 4-0, Cauldrons. For the game, Barquero went 2 for 6 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Fothergill told a Hogsmeade News reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
