Dragonblood Best Cauldrons in Pitching Duel
|
The Yellowknife Dragonblood started the 2028 season win an impressive 2-1 win against the Hogsmeade Cauldrons at The Dragon Den. Earl Farley, who was drafted in the two round of the 2028 draft, was named player of the game. Farley, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. Manuel Torres earned the save for Yellowknife, his 1st.
Peer van Lochem was a key contributor to the win for the Dragonblood. In the bottom of the second with one out, the light-hitting designated hitter stroked a double to right. He went 1-3 with a double and a walk.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Farley.
