Storm shortstop Harry MacCash put his stamp on his team's 8-3 win over the Washington Generals. MacCash went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles for Syracuse in the contest. The Storm improve their record to 32-59 with the win over Washington.

Juan Caro had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for the Storm. Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Syracuse trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double.

Washington manager Jacob Curtis said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
