St. Brown K's 11 En Route to 2-1 Jets Win
|
Kennesaw got an elite performance from starting pitcher Osiris St. Brown in taking a 2-1 decision over the Syracuse Storm. Mau Delgado locked down his 2nd save. The Jets are now 34-55, while the Storm fall to 31-58.
St. Brown, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 8-4. In 8 innings of work, St. Brown gave up no earned runs on 3 hits, while racking up 11 Ks. He kept the Storm punchless, offensively.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Syracuse skipper Chad Hess, "and it cost us."
