Generals Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
|
Washington Generals starter Wendell Clingan turned in a sterling performance against the Bellevue Bruins, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Washington now has a 3-game win streak.
Washington won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. That's when designated hitter Ricardo Bruno hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Generals fans to their feet.
"I like our resilience," said Clingan.
