The Walla Walla Walleye topped the Syracuse Storm, 4-2, in USSL Single A action at Storm Park. The player of the game was Walla Walla pitcher and Cul De Sac, Sint Maarten native Peer Akerboom. Quan Shiu was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 21 of 24 save opportunities. The 7th-place Walleye now have a win-loss record of 38-47.
Armaan Ebrahim, the Walla Walla left fielder, contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 2-1, Walleye. For the game, Ebrahim was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
