The Washington Generals did just enough to secure a 4-1 victory over the Idaho Falls Chukars at Idaho Falls Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Marco Sledge, who captured player of the game honors. With the win, Washington has a record of 45-30. Idaho Falls falls to 45-30.

Alonso Vielma came through for Washington when he hit a 2-run double in the top of the second. With the bases loaded, he hit a first pitch fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Vielma.
