Hendrickson Sensational for Generals
|
The Washington Generals did just enough to sneak past the Hammond Herons, 3-2, at Washington Park. Washington pitcher Russell Hendrickson earned player of the game honors. Randy Gabaldon converted his 3rd save in 4 tries. The Generals bumped their record to 39-28 with this latest triumph.
Hendrickson, who was born in Richardson, Texas, threw 103 pitches over 8.2 innings, while allowing 1 earned run.
"It feels good to get that win," said Hendrickson. "Now it's on to the next one."
