Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Jets
|
In a tight battle between the Kennesaw Jets and the Idaho Falls Chukars, pitcher Vincent O'Higgin was in the zone. The Kennesaw right-hander was named the player of the game in Kennesaw's 2-1 win. Kennesaw reliever Mau Delgado picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Ramón Granados took the loss. Kennesaw has 4 straight wins, Idaho Falls 3 straight losses.
Kennesaw won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when second baseman José Luna hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Jets fans to their feet.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said O'Higgin.
