Idaho Falls Chukars starter Chico Landi turned in an exceptional performance against the Bellevue Bruins at Idaho Falls Park, resulting in a Idaho Falls win, 4-1. Idaho Falls, now 25-16, holds third place in the Silver A.
Juan Rosado provided some late-game heroics for Idaho Falls. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a 2-run double. It came on a full count fastball from Mike Jenson and propelled Idaho Falls to a 3-1 lead.
"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Bellevue skipper Luis Barroco.
