Washington Generals starter Francisco Bojórquez was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Syracuse Storm, 6-2. Augusto Morín earned the save, his 2nd. Washington, at 25-14, sits in second place in the Silver A.

Also doing his part was designated hitter Dave Gant, who stroked a 2-run home run in the top of the second for Washington. For the game, Gant was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Gant told the Washington News.
