Expos Overcome Gem from Lokomaikainani, Pull Out Win
|
The Hammond Herons wasted an impressive 9-inning effort from starter Kanakanui Lokomaikainani, falling 1-0 to the Niagara Falls Expos at The Heron Refuge. The save went to Jefferson Suhendro, his 5th this season. At 14-22, the Expos find themselves in 8th place in the Silver A.
Lokomaikainani pitched a very strong game for the Hammond Herons, allowing 4 hits in 9 innings while striking out 14. He did not get a decision, however.
