Ceja Now 2-3 after Subduing Airmen
|
Kennesaw starter Manuel Ceja pitched effectively against the Alameda Airmen at Jets Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 4-0 win. Kennesaw currently is in 7th place in the Silver A at 14-20.
The Jets liked what they saw from Ceja. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Airmen to no earned runs on 7 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 9.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Ceja.
