Kennesaw starter Vincent O'Higgin pitched effectively against the Syracuse Storm at Jets Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 13-2 win. O'Higgin, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. The Kennesaw Jets are off to a sluggish start, getting just their 5th win in 16 games.
