Beauregard Dominant in Herons Victory
|
Hammond Herons starter Raymond Beauregard was in fine form against the Syracuse Storm at Storm Park, leading his team to a 7-3 win. The Hammond Herons, now 6-3, have been on a roll in the early going.
The Herons liked what they saw from Beauregard. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Storm to no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 8.
"Raymond was throwing strikes, locating well," said Hammond manager Davis Burt.
