Bulls Beat Revolution, 4-1

Pitcher Jason Schneider was sensational for the Belleville Bulls in his team's 4-1 triumph over the York Revolution. Schneider received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Schneider got the win, improving to 2-8. He allowed 4 hits and walked 4 over 5 innings. Schneider allowed 1 earned run. José Zavala was credited with the save for Belleville, his 1st of the season.
A key at-bat in the game came in the bottom of the second inning when the Bulls sent teenager Eric Harvey to the plate against Revolution hurler Rodney Spurr. With runners on 1st and 2nd and a whole stadium watching, the kid controlled his nerves and delivered huge, hitting a single off a first pitch forkball to score 1.
Despite the victory, Harvey was prickly with assembled media after the game. He said only that he was "happy with the win."
Their 54-39 record puts the Bulls third in the Menard's A.
