Connetquot rode a good effort from starter Kidlat Dakila to beat the York Revolution at The Big Teepee. The final score was 2-1. The Chiefs now have a record of 28-36.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth. That's when Connetquot second baseman Carlos Flores, facing Edward Ayers, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Chiefs the 2-1 win.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Dakila told a Connetquot Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
