López Delivers Walk-Off Win for BC
|
The home team gave the Put-In-Bay Ballpark fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Put-In-Bay BC starter Melvin Tiburcio turned in a top-notch performance against the Mancelona Torch at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. The result was a win for the BC, 3-2. At 26-19, the BC are currently 4th in the Menard's A.
When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, António López had a chance to end it. Mancelona pitcher Raúl Medina had other ideas. But with one out, López hit a sacrifice fly. The BC had the walk-off win.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Mancelona manager Jerry Moore.
