The Delaware 1787 BC got a superb performance from pitcher Pedro Reynoso, but the Dragoons still won the game, 2-1. Reynoso was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 9 innings of 5-hit ball. Getting the save was Gary Mason, his 7th. Louisiana is now riding a 3-game win streak.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Nelson Muntz was at the plate when Louisiana scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Dragoons to go in front, 2-1.
