Lionhearts Rally For Late Win Over Screaming Eagles
|
Lannister United Lionhearts starter Gustavo Tobías was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 5-3. Lannister United, now 56-43, holds third place in the Premier AA.
The most important at-bat for Lannister United came in the top of the ninth inning, when pinch hitter Sergio Peña stroked a 3-1 fastball to right for a 2-run single, putting Lannister United up, 5-3.
"Anytime we get it going, it puts a smile on my face," said Peña.
