|
Asheville Highlanders starter Claudio Salazar was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Northville Eclipse, 6-3. The winning pitcher was Salazar, now 5-8. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. Luis López was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 17 save opportunities.
Bill Tan aided the Asheville cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4.
