Highlanders Win 3-2 Walk-Off
|
Asheville Highlanders starter Ipe Talboom turned in a sterling performance against the San Antonio BC, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Brandon McAllister, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. Asheville's record now stands at 41-49, placing them 8th in the Premier AA.
Bill Tan was the walk-off hero for Asheville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Asheville right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
