Lannister United Lionhearts starter Won-min Yi turned in a workmanlike performance against the Salem Misfits at Ricochets Ballpark. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball in the 6-5 win. Tadeo Pico earned his 3rd save in 3 tries. Lannister United is third in the Premier AA with a record of 39-29.
Also playing a key role was Andrés Escobar. The Lannister United left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, Escobar was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.
