Martínez Silences San Antonio Bats
|
The Asheville Highlanders and San Antonio BC put on a pitchers' duel at Asheville Park.
In a low-scoring contest between the Asheville Highlanders and the San Antonio BC, pitcher Romano Martínez was at the top of his game. The Asheville right-hander was named the player of the game in Asheville's 1-0 win. Mark Valle earned the save for Asheville, his 2nd of the year.
