6 Straight Wins for Screaming Eagles
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the San Antonio BC at Mercer Island Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Hiro Kurasawa, who captured player of the game honors. The first-place Screaming Eagles have won 6 straight games.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 13th, Mercer Island catcher Raúl Moreno had a chance to be the hero. Batting with one out and a runner on 2nd, Moreno, who is tied for 4th in the PAA in bases on balls with 31, hit a walk-off run-scoring single.

In postgame remarks, Kurasawa simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
