Kurasawa Sensational for Screaming Eagles
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles went home winners at Ricochets Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Hiro Kurasawa. Kurasawa silenced the Salem Misfits, enabling Mercer Island to grab the 8-0 win. Mercer Island leads the Premier AA by 3½ games.

Kurasawa, who was born in Nagai, Japan, threw 117 pitches over 8.1 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Kurasawa.
