Highlanders Pull Back to Even with 6-2 Victory
|
Asheville Highlanders starter Romano Martínez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Northville Eclipse, 6-2. At 15-15, Asheville is in 6th place in the Premier AA.
Miguel Montoya, the Asheville right fielder, contributed a bases-clearing triple in the top of the sixth inning to make the score 6-2, Highlanders. For the game, Montoya was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.
"I was a little disappointed," said Northville manager Juan Padilla. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
