|
A 3-RBI performance from Roku Hara, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA with a .389 on-base percentage, helped the Plymouth Rocks beat the Milton Dogfish Head, 7-4. The winner was Bob Payne, who threw 115 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. The Plymouth winning streak has now reached 9 games.
Hara had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the first. On a 1-2 fastball from Juan Lara, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Rocks a 3-0 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Hara.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Plymouth manager Henry Henderson.
