The Targaryens grabbed a 4-3 win at Royse City Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Jersey City pitcher Dave Stephenson. Stephenson went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Targaryens go to 25-32, putting them 9th in the Premier AAA.
The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the tenth. On a pitch from António Rúbio, Sisto Pagnamenta drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Royse City the 4-3 walk-off win.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Chris Drew.
