Renaissance Drop Another One
|
It was a fun time at The Thunder Dome, where the Detroit Renaissance and Richardson City Thundercats tangled.
The Richardson City Thundercats went home winners at The Thunder Dome, thanks in large part to starter Josef van der Poel. van der Poel silenced the Detroit Renaissance, enabling Richardson City to grab the 5-1 win. Earning his 8th save for Richardson City was Kaluka Wene.
Flexing his muscles for Richardson City was Anselmo Berneu. The designated hitter had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Thundercats. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Berneu was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Berneu told the Richardson City Gazette.
The Renaissance have now dropped 5 straight.
