Houston right-hander Lester Sullivan pitched his team to victory over the Gryfindor Braves at Cayuse Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. In 7.2 innings, Sullivan surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Houston goes to 27-28, Gryfindor to 30-25.
Dennis Morrow provided some late-game drama. In the top of the eighth, with one out and a runner on 2nd, Morrow hit a run-scoring single. It helped Houston take the lead and grab the win.
