Rangers Walk Off with Win
The home team gave the Rangers Stadium fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Austin Rangers starter Art Adams was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Boston Patriots, 3-2. The winner was Austin reliever Júlio Rodríguez, now 3-1. The loser was John Kaufman.

Austin took a 3-2 lead on Yoshihito Samurakami's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Boston pitcher John Kaufman in the bottom of the ninth.

"This place was rockin'," Adams said.

With the win, the Rangers improved to 40-46.
