|
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves turned back the Milton Dogfish Head, 6-4, at Milton Corner Tavern. Jesús González was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. Alexander Weareorwear earned his 7th save in 8 tries. With the victory, the Hotspur Reserves record now stands at 12-23.
Also contributing to the win was third baseman Bob Curry, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth for Phoenix. For the game, Curry went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
