Braves Take Down Dogfish Head, 3-2
|
Gryfindor Braves starter Marv Bradford turned in an exceptional performance against the Milton Dogfish Head at Cayuse Ballpark, resulting in a Gryfindor win, 3-2. The win puts the Braves at 19-12, while the Dogfish Head drop to 14-17.
Gryfindor shortstop Ed Whitaker helped the Braves go up, 3-1, in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Whitaker hit a 2-run home run off Milton pitcher Danial Apodaca.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Gryfindor manager António Macías.
