BC Rally to Eke Out Win
|
David Sánchez had a good game, even if his team, the Milton Dogfish Head, did not. Milton dropped a 5-3 decision to Houston at Milton Corner Tavern. Houston reliever Dan Hobbs picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Michael Brown shouldered the loss. The 6th-place BC are now 14-16, the Dogfish Head 14-16.
Alfredo Rivera's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Michael Brown for a run-scoring single. It put Houston in front, 4-3.
"Exciting game to play in," said Rivera. "Getting the win makes it even better."
