Grasshoppers Pin 8-4 Loss on Polar Bears

Field of the Grasshoppers was the site of an exciting ballgame between the San Bernardino Grasshoppers and the Billings Polar Bears.
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers trumped the Billings Polar Bears, 8-4, at Field of the Grasshoppers. San Bernardino designated hitter Eric Porter was named player of the game for his performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. San Bernardino starter Chae-seong Kim was credited with the win after throwing 109 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 7-10. Peter Hall finished the game for San Bernardino and earned his 4th save.
Cisco Feijoo drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for San Bernardino. The 18-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Dale Kurth. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.
In postgame remarks, Porter said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
With the win over Billings, the Grasshoppers improved to 47-55.
