Losing Streak Continues for Thunder Hawks with 5-2 Loss
Atlantic City Sonics starter Osvaldo Garibe was in fine form against the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-2 win. The winning pitcher was Garibe, now 6-8. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Kenny Powers was credited with the save for Atlantic City, his 26th of the season.

Atlantic City first baseman Dam Son helped the Sonics go up, 2-0, in the top of the third inning. With the game tied, Son hit a 2-run single off Ft. Polk South pitcher Louis McDowell.

"I really like what we did out there today," Son said after the game.

The 5th-place Thunder Hawks have lost 10 consecutive games.
