Polar Bears Deal Ghosts 8-2 Setback

The Billings Polar Bears thumped the Casper Ghosts, 8-2, at The Graveyard. Jorge Noutel was a big reason his team got the win. Noutel was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Billings Polar Bears have an impressive 45-27 record.
Noutel came through with some timely hitting for Billings. With the score 3-2 in the top of the seventh and one down, Noutel hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was his 64th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Polar Bears managed to win.
"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Steve Carpenter.
