|
Arturo Scantlebury helped his team muscle past the Glendale Herons, 7-3. In the game, the Billings first baseman was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The Polar Bears raised their record to 43-25.
Scantlebury came through with some timely hitting for Billings. With the score 2-1 in the bottom of the third and one down, Scantlebury hit a full count forkball for a run-scoring single. It was his 74th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Polar Bears managed to win.
"We've got a great group of guys," Scantlebury said, "and we're having fun right now."
