The Glendale Herons got a superb performance from pitcher Donald Gregory, but the Thunder Hawks still won the game, 4-1. Gregory was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. The winner was Ft. Polk South reliever George Ferguson, now 5-1. The loser was Donald Gregory. Ft. Polk South is in 10th place in the Menard's AA with a record of 21-40.
Also contributing to the win was right fielder Aaron Dixon, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth for Ft. Polk South. For the game, Dixon was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"We found a way to get it done," Dixon said.
