The Billings Polar Bears topped the Ottawa Nationals by the score of 5-2, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Gary Malone. Malone belted 2 home runs for the Polar Bears. Billings reliever Raúl Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. António Fabián absorbed the loss. Dale Kurth earned the save for Billings, his 2nd of the year.
